Talk Whovian to Me♥♥

Today was my first official day on the job at Arby's and I've got to say, I will NEVER complain about what I receive from fast food ever again. Nor will I ever knock or look down on those working in fast food. It's harder than you'd think! Despite feeling like I was a complete idiot for not knowing most of the stuff I was taught today, I had a great first day (: And yes, I actually had quite an enjoyable time! I'm actually looking forward to going in on Thursday & who knows, if you're lucky I'll show you what I look like in my sexy uniform ;D

After work I stopped by the bank and picked up some pretty yellow flowers for my dear Frau ♥ I was a little disappointed that I wasn't allowed to give them to her personally but the email thanking me for them made it so worth it (:

 I spent the afternoon being quite nerdy playing Minecraft until miss Alexis came over. (Yes, I play Minecraft. Like a boss I might add)

Alexis made my night by allowing us to watch not just one, but TWO episodes of Doctor Who :D
Season 6, episode 4: "The Doctor's Wife" and the Christmas special between seasons 5 & 6: "A Christmas Carol" (: These are two of my favorite episodes & she was such a good sport, chuckling at all the right times & everything! Thanks dear (:

I'm a huge Doctor Who fan. Clearly. It's kind of crazy that I was first introduced to the show less than a year ago by someone who I don't even talk to anymore.  In less than a year I've managed to hook two of my other friends on the show, become the friend everyone knows as "The Whovian" (and proud of it!!), am almost able to give the name of most every episode (in order), am able to ACCURATELY quote chunks of almost every episode, and have a Doctor Who quote ready for every occasion (:
(P.S. Clicking on the pictures will make them bigger so you can read them)

Seriously, talking Whovian to me to probably the sexist thing you can do (;
A fellow Whovian left this gem for me on my wall last night(:
Hope you enjoy it as much as I do! ♥♥

I Wear Your Granddad's Clothes; I Look Incredible

I'm such a ditz for not blogging about this sooner. Friday was a great day with two of my oldest & closest friends, Elise and Christine. Both were in town for the day, which is rare now that we're all in different colleges.

The day started off by all of us lovely ladies meeting up at our local movie theater to see Identity Thief. It was raunchy and absolutely hysterical (:

I had an obligation to drop my mom off at her therapy (she had 2 back surgeries this time last year) session so we all piled into my car and took her. There’s a Noodle’s & Company out that way and that’s where we stopped for lunch (: Yum!! I kind of wish I had been a hipster and taken a picture of my food because it was just that good lol

What's wrong with this one you might ask?
Christine is wearing a skirt...
With jeans. Oh my.
She would make a lovely school teacher,
don't you think? (:
After a stop back at the movies for Elise and Christine to get their cars and after stopping to let Elise’s dog out, we headed out for some quality thrift shopping at the Salvation Army. What a great many… Interesting clothing items lol Naturally we felt the need to try on these exquisite gems (; Mainly I subjected Elise & Christine into being my human barbies but they managed to get me in one too (:

You guys decide, who wore this one better? (;

The one they got of me... Don't I look fabulous?
Elise looking like a hot female Elvis (;

I actually quite liked this jacket on Christine!

She um... Likes 80's dresses...
But we still love her (:

That's right, it's a ugly Christmas sweater... Dress.

I think that's a bit too much silver for you there Elise... Nice try though.

This just looks like yet another ugly dress right?

WRONG. It has pants!

Yes Elise you look fabulous, as always (:

After all of this excitement we ventured over to Red Mango for a treat. We sat there for roughly a half hour or so eating our super yum frozen yogurt & chatting before deciding we were hungry for dinner... So we went across the street for Beef-a-Roo (: We sat in the back room of that restaurant until it closed at 10 pm and we were finally forced to say farewell once more. I can't wait to see these two lovely ladies again! I've been friends with them both since 3rd grade; going on 11 years ago now!!!

I think it's very safe to say that we had a fantastic time catching up ♥
Love you Elise and Christine ♥

This song actually came on, which just made everything even better lol.
Listen to this at your own risk though, contains "mature" languange.
"I wear your granddad's clothes
I look incredible"

I Fought Off an Assassin Like the Bad Ass I am (;

So... Apparently musicians have common injuries just like athletes do. Most commonly we get joint sprains. Guess who learned that the hard way? Yep... This chick.

Seriously... Ow. To anyone who asks, I'm going to tell them I fought off an assassin like the bad ass I am (; But my fellow readers, truth is I injured my wrist (the right one) playing English Horn xP I know, lame right? There's a lot of strain that goes into the right hand/wrist to support an English Horn & most of our playing in rehearsal Thursday night had me on English Horn instead of Oboe. I could hardly move my hand at all later that night when I went to keep Ryan company at his work. I'm still not quite sure if I'll be able to take playing it for the concert ): Which really sucks because I have an English Horn solo! GRRR. Stupid wrist being a pansy >.>

In other news, poor Alexis ended up in the E.R. last night because she managed to give herself a fracture in HER wrist (the left one lol) from ice skating. Poor dear ): She was over tonight (: We (semi) watched Transformers 2 & ate some yummy Pizza Hut like fatties (: WORTH IT! (Oh and my dog, Pete, was being a little ham but for some reason Alexis loves him anyways :P)

You'll understand this when you go watch the video (:
We have this thing for finding stupid things hysterical at stupid late hours (mainly 3 am). The "lol SO DUMB" moments started early tonight though with me reminding her what the video was I had posted on her wall last night. It's the funniest thing ever & I about pee my pants every time I watch the first... 10 seconds or so. Funny Talking Animals Seriously, go watch it. You won't regret it (;

But yeah... Not much else worth blogging about tonight guys. Sorry :p Hope ya'll have a good rest of your night/day & enjoy your Sunday (: I'll be spending mine working pretty much alllllll day. Fun! )<

I just want to thank you all for reading this too (: It means a lot that people actually care enough to read this & I'm not just talking to myself out here on the interwebs!

It Takes Two to Tango

I know I probably shouldn't say anything about this, but it has REALLY been bugging me. I can't take walking on eggshells around certain people anymore. And you know... If I'm going to lose this person as a friend over me blogging about this then I've already lost her.

As most of you know I did something really stupid. Most of my friends have forgiven me. They've told me the deserved "you were dumb" but are still talking to me. Except one. And I've been hearing all these things about she has pretty much completely forgiven the other person involved in the stupid act. She's forgiven him... Who she has been friends with maybe three years, and yet she can't even talk to me and we have been (were?) friends for going on nine years. What? This makes no sense to me. Yes, I betrayed her trust. I am in the wrong for having gone along with him. But you know what? EVERY SINGLE TIME I had said we shouldn't have been talking like we were you know what he said? "Relax, it's fine." "We aren't doing anything wrong." "We're just talking." And my personal favorite, "It's not cheating because we aren't actually doing anything. We're just having fun."

I would understand if she didn't forgive either of us. I would be okay if she forgave both of us. I don't understand forgiving him and not me. It takes two to tango and guess what? He's the one who asked me to dance.

So fine, never talk to me again. Never forgive me. I deserve it because I was a really crappy friend. But please don't stay with him. He doesn't deserve you. You are a princess and he is the town fool. He's done it with me... Who else has he been talking to? Who else will he talk to in the future? Cause honey this wasn't going on for just a month; it had been happening since at least the beginning of fall semester, if not longer. Please leave his lying, cheating ass. You deserve so much better.
